About Quidley

Quidley Kellermann has never been afraid to forge her own path - a quality that is already paying off with an impressive eventing career for this dedicated and determined young rider. Originally from Texas, Quidley is currently based in the United Kingdom with Australian Olympian Kevin McNab & CCI5* rider Isabel English while competing at the CCI4* level. Her journey reflects not only her skill in the saddle but also her commitment to hard work, pursuit of excellence, and the development of lasting partnerships with an eye toward the future.

Quidley began her eventing career in the United States, training her first OTTB, Stillwater King, up through the Modified level while also honing her horsemanship skills with active participation in Pony Club. She gained valuable experience training with Kelty O’Donoghue in Virginia and later with Avery Klunick in Texas, both of whom helped shape her foundation as a rider. In 2022, she purchased Blakeney’s Cruise (“Poncho”), a young Irish Sport Horse she has developed from Novice (BE90) through the FEI levels. That same year, she and Poncho were crowned USEA Junior Novice Champions before making the move up to Training and then Preliminary.

Seeking bigger opportunities, Quidley relocated to the UK in 2023, where she has continued to build her skills in one of the most competitive eventing environments in the world. At just 17 years old, she was one of only a handful of riders from the United States to compete at the FEI WBFSH Eventing World Breeding Championships at Mondial du Lion in France, where she rode Poncho in the 6-year-old CCI2* division. The following year, the pair returned to Le Lion to contest the 7-year-old CCI3*-L, along with another addition to Quidley's string, Da Winti UNO’s Z ("Uno").

Quidley has continued her meteoric rise up the levels of international sport, currently competing at the CCI4* level with Poncho and Uno, as well as at the British Novice level with Monbeg Manhattan ("Jardy"). She is deeply passionate about developing young horses carefully and diligently, producing them with the patience and consistency needed for long-term success. A natural feel for horses along with a laser-focused work ethic make Quidley one of the sport's most exciting rising stars. While her time in Europe is giving her invaluable experience among the sport's elite, Quidley ultimately plans to return to the United States to train and compete, with the goal of contributing to the growth and international success of American high performance eventing.
